UNCOMPROMISED PERFORMANCE AT UNRIVALED WEIGHT

Designed for frustration-free ease of use, the MINIMIST GLIDE with its optimal mix of mohair and nylon plush is the modern realization of everything skiers expect from their skins. It's the lightest, most packable fully-featured momix skin in the world.

The MINIMIST skins achieve an ultralight feel by using high performance textiles from other demanding sports applications as a backbone.  This results in climbing skins that exceed the highest expectations for features and performance.  Every MINIMIST skin is up to 30% lighter than anything else in its performance class.

The MINIMIST skins pack small enough to fit into your jacket pocket.  The low-bulk materials matched with the minimalist tip and tail system create a tightly packed roll that doesn't require any extra room in your pack.

Great except for the tip.

I like mo-mix skins and I find these to be a nice offering in the category of climbs well + glides well. The packability is excellent. The glue seems to hold up well in challenging conditions. Creepage under the tip is minimal.

I killed my first pair by putting a tear in them. I was skimo ripping the skins so I figure this is my fault for dragging them across my edge. I'll treat them with more care this time.

The tail clip is impressive. It does change the notch in the tail strap it's supposed to be in sometimes but this is not a huge deal. It's also not a very stretchy tail strap, so it's not always possible to get a nice taught clip. But I swear the tail will re-clip itself by just skinning. I feel like tail straps are a loosing battle so I give these high marks.

My biggest issue is with the tip - it comes loose. I've seen this on other pairs so I know it's not just me. The jaws seem to rotate off the ski if bumped in such a way they may be encouraged to do so. I think this is because of the off-axis design now used. It would be nice to see the wider jaw from the alpinist used or just to go back to the old symetric jaw design.
