BUILT FOR COLD AND DRY CONDITIONS

The ideal all-purpose, go-anywhere climbing skin built for cold and dry conditions. A mix of mohair for optimal glide and nylon for added durability.

The stiff material of the ALPINIST+ tip creates a rigid platform that keeps snow from creeping under the skin and extends the use of your adhesive.

New tip connector with extended TPU tip and self-aligning stainless-steel hands give a secure, lightweight connection and superior glide while trailbreaking. The updated tail lever and elongated tail strap makes transitions fast and easy.

The refined camming clip stays positioned on the ski, reduces wear and allows for easy adjustments. Removable rip strip reduces skin-to-skin adhesion, making it easier to pull apart skins. If your glue gets contaminated on an epic traverse, you can remove the strip for extra adhesion.

  • Bomber tail connector & updated tail lever
  • Removable rip strip
  • Trim tool and skin savers included
  • Premium Plush: Lightweight, fast & durable
  • Non-toxic adhesive
  • Recycled & recyclable storage bag & box
  • Proudly designed, tested and manufactured in BC, Canada

Good Skins for 2 Seasons, Then Needs a Refresh

Season 1 they were good. Season 2 the glue did not stick well. Beginning of Season 3, the glue did not stick at all. Contacted Customer Service and Keven recommended doing a refresh per the video below. I followed the instructions and the skins became sticky again. Thank you Keven for your advice.

Great skin - incorrect sizing chart - poor customer service

Great skins. Ordered my second pair. Unfortunately the sizing chart on the website is incorrect instructing to round up to the nearest skin size when the product manual contradicts this and says to round your ski size down to the nearest skin size.

When I received the skins the TPU tip was hanging over either side of the ski. Customer service instructed me to use the trim tool on the TPU tip. Not too happy with the outcome.

Hi Nick, Thanks for your review. There's a lot of personal preference when it comes to skin coverage, but for length our sizing charts recommends sizing down. We recommend a smaller size since most of your skin’s grip comes from just a few dozen centimeters under the binding. For width we recommend sizing up so you get full coverage underfoot where it counts.

We recommend lining up your skins against your skis before taking the protective Mylar off the glue or doing any trimming to ensure you have the best fit. If you for some reason you have purchased the wrong size you can bring it back to the point of purchase to exchange it for the optimal size.

Leaves glue on skins, disappointed

I've used these skins for two years, roughly 40 ski tours. At the end of the first year, they began leaving skin glue on the base of my skis. This glue is incredibly difficult to remove, and every tour now is negatively affected because my skis no longer have glide once I remove the skins because there is so much glue on the bottom sticking to the snow. I'm not exaggerating when I say I could skin uphill without the skins on due to the amount of glue left on my ski bases! When they worked, they were great, but these were very expensive to only get such a short life out of them.

Hi Ross, we are sorry to see that you were experiencing glue issues with your skins. Please reach out to us in our contact us froms so we help you better. - G3
