BOMBER ONE-PIECE FREERIDE OR GUIDE POLE

This stout aluminum one-piece ski pole is equally at home in bounds as it is in the backcountry. Its simple build includes a feature set trimmed down to the necessities of uphill travel and downhill performance.

The rubberized, extended grip is lightweight and provides unlimited options for grip location along the top of the pole. It acts as an added layer of insulation against cold poles with your bare hands. The side hill bump increases stability for those technical sections of a traverse. The handle features G3's Quickflick Utility Tab to flick heel lifts or buckles.

Includes comfortable and lightweight wrist straps that are easily adjustable. The clip makes it super easy to remove your straps for backcountry skiing or tree skiing. The redesigned all-mountain basket is the perfect size (85mm) and shape to tackle any snow condition and is especially suited for steep and technical terrain.

This pole can be used all season round as a sturdy trekking pole in the warmer months.

Nice poles!

I really prefer fixed poles for a lower swing weight and less things to go wrong. My usual poles are fixed length BD Boundary Carbon and I only use my adjustable BDs if I'm pretty sure I will be digging a pit as they can attached a saw that is pretty hand for ECTs. With the G3 fixies I really like the top of the grip for flipping climbing aids and the soft lower grip is nice too. I just wish the straps were breakaway instead of easily removeable. Overall, a really nice pole, especially for the price.

super ski pole

Had numerous telescopic poles over the years (Lekki, G3, Black Daimond), mainly alluminum but also carbon. ... but really love the fixie. super stiff, light, and sharp, and fantistic grip (even with mini/resort friendly self arrest hook - but not convinced long enough to do much except on really firm snow)... The length of grip down the shaft for the most part eliminates the need to every need to adjust the length, which is more efficient in use then constantly adj. pole length... (got to get my friends on them too). .. only think i don't love is the strap .. can adjust the size of loop, but there is an extension that can't be shortenned and prevents snugging the palm to the pole with the strap (rarely needed excep the long skating traverse on cat tracks and xc routes).

Great pole

Functional and exactly the pole I wanted - I'm very happy with my purchase. These replaced an old adjustable pole from a different manufacturer that wouldn’t stay at a desired length. The extended grip on the Fixie allows the function of the extendable pole without the drawbacks of an unexpected collapse.
